The Queen has been pleased by Warrant bearing the date 15 October 2015 to direct the issue of a Commission under the Great Seal appointed to be kept and made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland appointing John Alexander Ross CBE to be Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Wigtown.
