The Queen has been pleased by Royal Warrants under Her Royal Sign Manual dated 10 April 2017 to appoint Cressida Rose Dick, CBE., QPM., as the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in accordance with the Police Act 1996, as amended by the Greater London Authority Act 1999, with effect from 10 April 2017.
