DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES – SCHEDULE 209

THE CROYDON (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF STOPPING, LOADING AND WAITING) AND (FREE PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. K65) ORDER 20-

THE CROYDON (ON-STREET CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.K66) ORDER 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 3 Dovercourt Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 9 Hampton Road, Croydon, No. 6 St Luke’s Close, South Norwood and No. 118 Norbury Court Road, Norbury.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

Beauchamp Road, Upper Norwood Outside No. 122 and partially across the frontage of No. 120
Broughton Road, Thornton Heath Outside No. 109 (replaces one space within a permit/pay & display bay)
Bynes Road, South Croydon Outside No. 143 and partially across the frontage of No. 145
Cherry Tree Green, South Croydon Outside No. 9
Davidson Road, Croydon Outside No. 630
Glossop Road, South Croydon Outside No. 48 (replaces one space within a permit/pay & display bay)
Heathfield Vale, South Croydon Outside No. 72
Lancing Road, Croydon Outside No. 53 and partially across the frontage of No. 55 (replaces one space within a permit/pay & display bay)
Maplethorpe Road, Thornton Heath Outside No. 54
Northampton Road, Croydon Outside No. 17
Oaklands, Kenley Adjacent to Nos. 15 and 16
Oaklands Oakley Road, South Norwood Outside No. 68 and partially across the frontage of No. 66
Tugela Road, Croydon Outside Nos. 31 and 33 (replaces one space within a permit/pay & display bay)
Spencer Road, South Croydon Outside No. 21
Upwood Road, Norbury Outside Nos. 45 and 47

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/K65 & K66 by 16 April 2020.
