LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
THE BRENT (SPEED LIMITS) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the ‘Speed Limits’ Order would be to impose a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour in:-
(a) Corinium Close;
(b) Lea Gardens;
(c) Princes Court;
(d) Park Court;
(e) Park Lane;
(f) The service road lying south-east of Park Lane.
3. The Council also propose to install road humps, also known as ‘raised tables’, under section 90 A- F of the Highways Act 1980 in the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The road humps would be constructed to cover the full width of the carriageway and would be no higher than 75 millimetres at the highest point with 1:20 gradient ramps.
4. The Council has also approved proposals to convert the existing zebra crossing in Park Lane, outside Park Lane Primary School into a signalised pedestrian crossing under section 23 of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The ‘controlled area’ in which waiting and loading is prohibited at all times, would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossing.
5. A copy of the proposed Order, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a map which indicates each length of road to which the Order relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order are made or the Council decides not to make the Order at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

7. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposals or to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/24/140/NP, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.

Raised Tables 75mm high, 1:20 gradient
Park Lane:-
(a) between 12.50 metres north-west of the south-eastern boundary of No. 1 Park Court and 21.5 metres north-west of that boundary;
(b) between 11.5 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Lea Gardens and 20.5 metres south-west of that kerb-line;
(c) between 39.1 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Dagmar Avenue and 48.1 metres south-west of that kerb-line;
(d) between the north-eastern boundary of No. 30 Park Lane and 9 metres north-east of that boundary;
(e) between 8.50 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 46 Park Lane and 17.5 metres north-east of that boundary.
