NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 8 July 2024 the Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 8(4) of Schedule 16 to the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, confirmed the above Order which was made by West Lothian Council on 27 July 2022.

The effect of the Order is to stop up that section of road running in a north-south direction between Main Street and Langton Road, East Calder, forming part of the core path known as the National Cycle Route 75, as shown delineated in green and in blue on Plan 1 appended to the Order and to make provision for the construction of a new road and the diversion of the core path on that route shown delineated in pink on Plan 2 appended to the Order.
