Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 24th February 2025 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and to implement a Zebra Crossing on West Green Road N15 under Section 23 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The general effect of orders will be:

1. To reduce the length of the double yellow lines on the north side of West Green Road N15 outside No.306 by 1.8 metres.

2. To extend the length of the Pay to Park bays on the south side of West Green Road N15 outside No.319/317 by 4 metres in westerly direction thereby reducing the length of the loading bay.

3. To extend the length of the Pay to Park bays on the south side of West Green Road N15 outside No.319/317 by 4 metres in an easterly direction thereby replacing the existing double yellow lines.

4. To remove the double yellow lines/double kerb blips on the north side of West Green Road N15 from its junction with Langham Road, west to a point opposite No.319/317 (a length of 22.6 metres).

5. To remove the single yellow line/single kerb blips on the north side of West Green Road opposite No.319/317 to a point opposite No.321 (a length of 7.7 metres).

6. To remove the Pay to Park bays on the south side of West Green Road N15 outside No.309 to a point outside No.303/305 (a length of 15 metres).

The above parking changes are required to improve road safety and to facilitate the installation of a proposed Zebra Crossing and associated zig-zag markings on West Green Road N15, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times. These will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing; no more than 17 metres in both directions.

The centre of the proposed Zebra Crossing on West Green Road N15 is to be located outside property No.311 West Green Road N15 located 10.3 metres west of the western kerb of Langham Road.

Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 6th March 2025.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
