1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to amend the operational times of Controlled Parking Zone from ‘Monday- Saturday 9am-7pm’ to ‘Monday-Sunday 9am-7pm’.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to:

a) Amend the operational times of the CPZ from the existing ‘Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm’ single yellow line restrictions to ‘Monday-Sunday 9am-7pm’ single yellow line restrictions in;

a. Arnott Close; Belmont Road; Belmont Terrace; Bond Street; Bridge Street; Chardin Road; Chiswick Common Road; Essex Road; Fishers Lane; Mills Row and Windmill Road.

b) Extend existing no waiting at any time restrictions in;

a. Chiswick Common Road, south side, outside Nos.1-6 Jonathon Court, Chiswick Common Road;

b. Chiswick Common Road, south side, approximately 15 metres west of the boundary wall of Nos. 3 & 4 Victor Villas, Chiswick Common Road

4. The general effect of the Mid Chiswick Parking Places Order would be to:

a) Convert existing ‘Pay and Display - Mon-Sat 9am-7pm Max stay 2 hours’ bay to shared use ‘Permit Holders & Pay and Display - 9am-7pm Max stay 4 hours’ outside No. 62 Elliot Road;

b) Reduce the length of the existing permit parking bays in:

a. Chiswick Common Road, south side, outside No. 1-6 Jonathon Court, Chiswick Common Road

b. Chiswick Common Road, south side, approximately 15 metres west of the boundary wall of Nos. 3 & 4 Victor Villas, Chiswick Common Road

5. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

6. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, stating the grounds of the objection, to the Acting Director for Environmental Services, Hounslow Council, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or by email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P002/25, to be received by no later than 28 March 2025.
