On 7th April 2025 an application will be made on behalf of the Chief Constable of West Midlands Police to Birmingham Magistrates Court for an Order for the Forfeiture of £2503.25 cash seized from Javid ANWARI bn: 21/03/2001 of no fixed abode originally seized under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act on Monday 21st October 2024 May at the Park Inn Hotel, Bescot Cres, Walsall WS1 4SE. Later seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act on 4th of March 2025.

The West Midlands Police, Illicit Cash Team believe that the funds (plus interest accrued) or part thereof is:

a) Recoverable property; and or

b) Is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct

Any person with an interest in the cash may object to the proposed forfeiture. Any such objection should be sent in writing to:

If no objection is received, the forfeiture of the detained cash will proceed on 7th of April and no further notice will be given.
