National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1), and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A1 Trunk Road at Great Ponton, in the County of Lincolnshire.

The effect of the order would be to close the gaps in the central reservation of the A1 situated approximately -

1. 114 metres south of the centreline of its junction with Archers Way, at Great Ponton; and

2. 156 metres south of the centreline of its junction with Archers Way, at Great Ponton.

A copy of the draft Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and a Statement of the reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during opening hours at Grantham Library, Floor 1, Isaac Newton Shopping Centre, Newton Street, Grantham, NG31 6EE; Stamford Library, 30 High Street, Stamford, PE9 2BB, or may be seen at or obtained by application to Jodie Anderson at National Highways, The Cube, 199 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RN; or obtained by emailing orders-birmingham@nationalhighways.co.uk.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to Jodie Anderson at National Highways at the address or e-mail address given above. The objection must be received no later than 10 April 2025.
