1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton on 24 March 2025 made the following Order The Sutton (Moving Traffic Restrictions) (Amendment No. 7) Order 2025 under sections 84 and 124 insofar as applicable and all other powers thereunto enabling as of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984¹, as amended –

The general effect of the Order would be to impose a 20mph speed limit in: Bridgefield Road, Cecil Road, Derby Road, Grove Road between its junction with Sutton Park Road and Salisbury Avenue, Landseer Road, Roseberry Road, Salisbury Avenue, St James’ Road between its junction with Cheam Road and Grove Road, Summerville Gardens, Toremead Close and York Road between its junction with Cheam Road and Salisbury Avenue.

3. A copy of the Order that will come into force 31 March 2025, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Or, that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
