ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (WESTMINSTER) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2008 THE A4202, A4, A202, A3211 AND A302 BROOK GATE, BAYSWATER ROAD, VAUXHALL BRIDGE ROAD, VICTORIA EMBANKMENT AND VICTORIA STREET E-SCOOTER AND CYCLE BAYS VARIATION ORDER 2025

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to add hireable cycles as a permitted vehicle to use the at any time hireable e-scooter only bay:

(1) on the south-western footway of the A202 Vauxhall Bridge Road between a point 1 metre northwest of the north-western building line No.1 Drummond Gate and a point 9.6 metres north-westwards;

(2) on the south-western footway of the A202 Vauxhall Bridge Road between a point 17.6 metres northwest of the south-eastern building line No.3 Drummond Gate and a point 10 metres north-westwards;

(3) on the eastern footway of the A3211 Victoria Embankment between a point opposite a point 20 metres south of the northern building line of Portcullis House and a point 8 metres southwards;

(4) on the northern footway of the A4 Bayswater Road between a point 44 metres west of the eastern building line of No.1 Connaught Place and a point 7 metres westwards;

(5) on the northern footway of Victoria Street between a point 9 metres east of the north-eastern building line of No.100 Victoria Street and a point 10 metres eastwards;

(6) on the northern footway of the A4202 Brook Gate from a point 8.5 metres west of the western kerb-line of the southbound carriageway of Park Lane and a point 5 metres westwards.

3. The roads which would be affected by the Order are Victoria Street, A202 Vauxhall Bridge Road, A4 Bayswater, A4202 Brook Gate and A3211 Victoria Embankment.

4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference the Traffic Order relates to or by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below. 5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ or by emailing trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk quoting reference SNO/REGULATION/STOT/GK/TRO, GLA/2025/0281, to arrive before 20th May 2025. Please note due to Hybrid working access to post is restricted and requests for documents and confirmation of your objections or representations may be delayed. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
