LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202* (VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) introduce/extend ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) introduce Monday to Saturday operating between 8am and 6.30pm waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule to this Notice;
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/783 not later than 21st May 2025.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time: -
ALTYRE WAY, Beckenham: (a) the west side, (i) from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Hillcrest Close to a point 10m south of the southern kerbline of Hillcrest Close.
CHELSFIELD LANE (slip road fronting Nos. 88 to 142 Chelsfield Lane): (a) south west side (i) from a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerb line of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 to 138 Chelsfield Lane) (south eastern end) to a point 10m north west of the north western kerbline of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 – 138) (south eastern end); (ii) from a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerb line of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 to 138 Chelsfield Lane) (north western end) to a point 25.8m north west of the north western kerbline of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 to 138 Chelsfield Lane) (north western end) (b) both sides, (i) from the south western kerbline of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 88 – 142) (north western end) to a point 10m north west of that kerbline; (c) the north, west and south sides, for its entire length; (d) the south east and south west sides, from the south western kerbline of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 to 138 Chelsfield Lane) (north western end) to the common boundary of Nos. 116 and 118 Chelsfield Lane; (e) the north east and north west sides, from south western kerbline of Chelsfield Lane (slip road fronting Nos. 108 to 138 Chelsfield Lane) (south eastern end) to the common boundary of Nos. 126 and 128 Chelsfield Lane.
EDEN WAY, Beckenham: (a) the southwest side, (i) from the southern kerbline of Holly Crescent to the common boundary of Nos. 4 & 6 Eden Way.
HILLCREST CLOSE, Beckenham: (a) both sides, (i) from the western kerbline of Altyre Way westwards for a distance of 10m.
HOLLY CRESCENT, Beckenham: (a) the north side, (i) from the western kerbline of Lodge Gardens to the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Holly Crescent (b) the southeast and south sides, (i) from the southwestern kerbline of Eden Way to the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Holly Crescent.
KING HENRY’S DRIVE, Keston: (a) the northeast side, (i) from the western kerbline of Layhams Road north westwards for a distance of 15m.
LAYHAMS ROAD, Keston: (a) the west side, (i) from the northeastern kerbline of King Henry’s Drive northwards for a distance of 10m. (b) the east side, (i) from the northeastern kerbline of Sheepbarn Lane northwards for a distance of 10m.
LAYHAMS ROAD, West Wickham: (a) the southwest side (i) from a point 65m southeast of the southeastern boundary of No. 1 Layhams Road south eastwards for a distance of 80m. (b) the northeast side (ii) from a point 75m southeast of the southeastern boundary of No. 1 south eastwards for a distance of 80m.
LODGE GARDENS, Beckenham: (a) the west side, (i) from the northern kerbline of Holly Crescent northwards for a distance of 10m.
SHEEPBARN LANE, Keston: (a) the northeast side, (i) from the eastern kerbline of Layhams Road, south eastwards for a distance of 15m.
STARTS HILL ROAD, Orpington: (a) the northeast side, (i) from a point 20m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of Pinecrest Gardens north eastwards for a distance of 21.8m.
WORLDS END LANE, Orpington: (a) the northeast side (i) from the southeastern boundary of Nos.26 Worlds End Lane north westwards for a distance of 42m. (b) the southwest side (i) from the common boundary of Nos. 55 & 57 Worlds End Lane north westwards for a distance of 30.5m.
Monday to Saturday operating between 8am and 6.30pm: -
STARTS HILL ROAD, Orpington: (a) the east side, (i) from a point 1m south the common boundary of Nos. 40 & 42 Starts Hill Road southwards for a distance 20m.
