THE NEWHAM (PARKING PLACES) (CAR CLUBS) (NO. 1, 2007) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham (‘the Council’) proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to shorten a length of ‘shared-use’ parking places operating Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and introduce a Car Club only bay operating ‘at any time’ on the north-west side of Earlham Grove, outside No. 201 Earlham Grove.

3. Further information may be obtained by telephoning 020 8430 2000.

4. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders can be made available during normal office hours on Monday to Friday by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk, or inspected (by prior appointment - please telephone 020 3373 6415) at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, until six weeks after the date on which the Orders are made or until the proposed Orders are withdrawn, as appropriate.

5. All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing by 21 May 2025. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. They should be sent to the Acting Director of Highways, Parking and Transportation, London Borough of Newham, 3rd Floor West, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London, E16 2QU or by email to traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk

6. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any letter or e-mail sent to the Council in response to this Notice may be subject to publication or disclosure, or both, including communication to other persons affected.
