1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to provide a pedestrian and cycle zone in St Albans Grove, between the eastern kerbline of Kensington Court Place/Stanford Road and the western kerbline of Victoria Road (outside Thomas’s Kensington School), between 8.00am and 9.00am and between 3.15pm and 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

[Note: (1) Foot scooters, e-scooters, emergency vehicles, Dial-a-ride buses, minibuses serving the school and vehicles displaying a valid Blue Badge will be exempt from the closures. Residents and traders who live or work in the section of road referred to above will be able to register for an exemption. (2) The pedestrian and cycle zone will operate at the times stated above, although in practice it is anticipated that it will only operate during these hours in school term-time, when physical barriers are installed on street].
