THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.282) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 25th day of April 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce cycle hangars in the following locations;

Road Name Location
Albion Road (a) replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking outside No. 33 with a cycle hangar;
(b) replace approximately 1 metre of residents' parking outside Nos. 31 and 33 Albion Road by extending the double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions;
Amhurst Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 305 Amhurst Road.
Benthal Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay, south of No. 48 Benthal Road.
Bouverie Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay at the side of No. 100 Stoke Newington Church Street, in Bouverie Road.
Chelmer Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay to the west of Nos. 20 and 22 Chelmer Road.
Chesholm Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 11 Chesholm Road.
Clapton Square Replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking space outside No. 8 Clapton Square
Downs Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 4 Downs Road.
Dumont Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 22 Dumont Road.
Dynevor Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 43 Dynevor Road.
Finsbury Park Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay at the side of No. 18 Somerfield Road, in Finsbury Park Road.
Forest Road Replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking, at the western side of No. 87 Forest Road.
Glenarm Road Replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking at the side of No. 39 Elderfield Road, in Glenarm Road.
Gore Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside Nos. 98a - 98b Gore Road.
Lavers Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 15 Lavers Road.
Listria Park Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside no. 40 Listria Park.
Mayola Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 74 Mayola Road.
Millfields Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay opposite No. 136 Millfields Road.
Palatine Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 34 Palatine Road.
Prince George Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 31 Prince George Road.
Queensdown Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 21 Queensdown Road.
Sandringham Road Replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking outside No. 105 Sandringham Road.
Sydner Road Replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside No. 65 Sydner Road.
Winston Road Replace 2.5 metres of residents' parking outside No. 87 Winston Road.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 25th day of April 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
