This notice is given by National Grid UK Pension Scheme Trustee Limited (the “Trustee”) in its capacity as trustee of the National Grid UK Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”). Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 and any other relevant power, that the Trustee is winding-up Section B of the Scheme. This follows the transfer of all of the assets and liabilities of Section B of the Scheme into the National Gas Transmission Pension Scheme (“NGTPS”). Section B represents the continuation of the Scheme as it existed prior to its sectionalisation in January 2017 and, before the transfer to NGTPS, contained liabilities for all beneficiaries not transferred on sectionalisation to Sections A or C. Any person who believes that he or she has a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from, or interest in, Section B of the Scheme is hereby required to send particulars in writing by two months from date of notice of his or her claim or entitlement (together with full name, present address, date of birth and National Insurance Number) to the below address marked for the attention of The Trustee. Address: NGUKPS, Pension Administration, Barnett Waddingham, Building 2, Guildford Business Park, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 8XG. Email: NGUKGasPension@Barnett-Waddingham.co.uk. After this date, the Trustee will proceed to wind-up Section B of the Scheme and the Trustee will not be liable to any person, other than those persons whose claims and entitlements it has notice.

Any individuals who have already been contacted on behalf of the Trustee and/or the trustee of the National Gas Transmission Pension Scheme about the transfer of their former entitlement under Section B of the Scheme to the National Gas Transmission Pension Scheme should not respond to this notice.
