SECTION 247 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (TCPA 1990)

NOTICE OF A STOPPING UP MADE AT NURSERY CLOSE, FELTHAM, TW14 9BE

(STOPPING UP ORDER 2024)

1. The London Borough of Hounslow (“Council”) gives notice that it has made an order under section 247 of the TCPA 1990 authorising the stopping up and diversion of highways specified in the Schedule to this notice and as shown on the attached plan (“Plan”).

2. The order is made to enable the development specified in the second schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the TCPA 1990 by the Council on 19th December 2022 under reference number 00439/I/P1 (P/2022/1975) and any subsequent permissions granted under section 73 of the Act which vary or amend this planning permission which do not affect the areas being stopped up.

3. A copy of the order and Plan may be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW3 3EB between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). Please contact the Council at traffic@hounslow.gov.uk or on 020 8583 3322 to arrange an appointment to view the order or for a copy to be posted. A copy of the order is also available on the Council’s website under Traffic Notices.

4. The order comes into force on the date on which the Council certifies that the terms of article 4 of the order have been complied with and it may be cited as “The London Borough of Hounslow Stopping Up of Highways (Nursery Close, Feltham,TW14 9BE) Order 2024”.

5. Any person aggrieved by the order and wishing to question its validity, or any provision contained in the order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the TCPA 1990 or that any procedural requirement of the TCPA 1990 or any regulation made under the TCPA 1990 has not been complied with in relation to the making of the order may, within 6 weeks of the date of this notice, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the order or of any provision contained in the order.
