THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce Electric Vehicle bays in the following locations;
Road Name | Location |
Gascoyne Road | On the north side, from a point 90.4m of eastern kerbline of Bradstock Road south eastwards for a distance of 14.2m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a permit bay. |
Kingsmead Way | On the west side, from a point 10.4m of northern kerbline of Homerton Road north westwards for a distance of 14.2m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay, replacing a permit bay. |
Stoke Newington Church Street | On the east side, from a point 6.0m of eastern kerbline of Shelford Place north eastwards for a distance of 14.2m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing resident’s permit bay. |
Victoria Park Road | On the south side from a point 0.3m opposite of existing building line of 81 & 83 Victoria Park Road eastwards for a distance of 14.7m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a permit bay. |
3. The general effect of the Orders will be to implement the following provisions at the locations listed:
• Electric vehicle recharging point only
• Max stay 4 hours
• No return within 2 hours

Clapton Common | On the west side, from a point 10.0m of southern kerbline of Spring Hill south eastwards for a distance of 28.9m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing the cashless shared use bay. |
Darnley Road | On the south side, from a point 9.8m of eastern kerbline of Frampton Park Road eastwards for a distance of 29.1m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing the cashless shared use bay. |
Egerton Road | On the north side, from a point 8.4m of western kerbline of Rookwood Road westwards for a distance of 30.8m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing the cashless shared use bay. |
Evering Road | On the south side, from a point 3.7m opposite of eastern kerbline of Jenner Road north eastwards for a distance of 31.2m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing the cashless shared use bay. |
Gilpin Road | On the south side, from a point 5.4m of southern kerbline of Mandeville Street south westwards for a distance of 27.0m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a permit bay. |
Overbury Street | On the west side, from a point 8.2m of the western kerbline of Redwald Road north westwards for a distance of 28.9m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a permit bay. |
Paul Street | On the west side, from a point 2.9m of building line of 79-81 Paul Street northwards for a distance of 28.9m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing cashless shared use bay. |
Pedro Street | On the west side, from a point 8.0m opposite of northern kerbline of Rushmore Road north westwards for a distance of 28.9m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a permit bay. |
Portland Avenue | 19.6m away west direction from existing building line of Island House and Stamford Hill Church. Install a new 28.9m Electric Vehicle Charging Bay in the west direction replacing cashless shared use bay. |
Scrutton Street | On the north side, from a point 12.6m of the eastern kerbline of Phipp Street eastwards for a distance of 30.7m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing cashless bay. |
Theydon Road | On the east side, from a point 1.2m of building line of 14 Theydon Road northwards for a distance of 28.9m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing cashless shared use bay. |
4. Alternatively, such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.
5. Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk within 28 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
