1.The general effect of these proposals are:

PTO 2243 - to create 12 new single car club bays in the locations as follows:

a) Replacing the permit holder parking spaces on:

(i) Turner Street, os no.7 west kerb southerly end space, (ii) Underwood Road, south kerb, approx. 10m west from the junction with Vallance Road, (iii) Jamaica St, west kerb approx. 10m north of the junction with Stepney Way, (iv) Harford Street, os no.115 east kerb, (v) Roman Road, os no.236 south kerb, (vi) Salmon Lane, os no.1-22 Aithan House, east kerb southerly end, and (vii) Ricardo Street os no.117 south kerb.

b) Replacing the Resident permit holder parking spaces on: (i) Eric Street, south of the junction with Hamlets Way east kerb, northern space and (ii) Blair Street - opposite Blairgowrie Court on north kerb.

c) Replacing the Shared use (Permit / Pay by Phone) parking spaces on: (i) Hague Street os no.1 east kerb and (ii) Saxon Road, south kerb, approx.10m from the junction with St. Stephen’s Road.

d) Replacing the Mon – Thurs 8.30am to 5.30pm Resident permit holder and Fri 12.30 - 2.30pm Limited waiting bay on Sutton Street, west kerb approximately 5m south from the junction with Shadwell Gardens.

PTO 2245 :Minor amendments on:

a) To replace 5m of Resident parking space for dropped kerb access on (i) Whitethorn Street os no.73 and replace with double yellow line, (ii) Franklin Street – outside the flank wall of no.2 Taft Way, and (iii) Chapel House Street outside no.40 and replace with single yellow line,

b) Cavell Street (west kerb between Raven Row and Whitechapel Road) - by removing 7m of double yellow line between the two Pay by Phone bays, amalgamate into a single Pay by Phone Bay.

c) Manilla Street (south kerb -east of Cuba Street) – to reduce the existing Shared use (Permit and Pay by Phone) parking bay by 5m from its eastern end and replace with double yellow lines and no loading ‘at any time’.

d) To remove the following Personalised Disabled Bays (PDB’s) into resident permit holder space:

(i) Fairfield Road os no.37, (ii) Cleveland Way os no.18, (iii) Campbell Road os no.21, and (iv) Barnes Street os no.14/16, and (v) Yeo Street os Tallow Court into a permit holder space.

2. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 1 above.

3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and all relevant documents can be obtained by emailing Parking.TMO@towerhamlets.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.

4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent by email to the above email address in paragraph 3 or in writing to Parking & Mobility Services, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
