1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Orders, under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of these Orders would be to:

(a) revoke and reintroduce the provisions of all previous Dockless E-Bike and E-Scooter Parking Orders as specified in the Schedule to this notice into a new consolidation Order to include the following amendments:

(i) introduce new E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Carrington Avenue and Roseberry Road, Hounslow;

(ii) introduce new E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Gordon Road, Hartington Road, Princes Avenue, Spencer Road and Thames Road, Chiswick;

(iii) introduce new E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Hogarth Gardens and Wheatlands, Heston;

(iv) introduce a new E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Morris Road, Isleworth;

(v) introduce a new E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Steam Farm Lane, Feltham;

(vi) relocate the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Pumping Station Road, Chiswick

(vii) relocate the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in College Road, Gower Road, Musgrave Road, St Mary’s Crescent (west), Syon Park Gardens and Thornbury Avenue, Isleworth;

(viii) relocate the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Eaton Road, Hounslow;

(ix) relocate the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Hawthorn Close, Cranford;

(x) relocate the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in West Way, Heston;

(xi) revoke the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Bedfont Lane, Bell Lane, Benedict Drive, Cains Lane, Highfield Road, North Road, Oak Way and Roebuck Close, Feltham

(xii) revoke the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Alderney Avenue, Central Avenue, Cromwell Road, Lyncroft Gardens, Lynmouth Gardens and Munster Avenue, Hounslow;

(xiii) revoke the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays in Pevensey Close, St Mary’s Crescent (east) and Summerwood Road, Isleworth; &

(xiv) revoke the existing E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bay in Riverview Road, Chiswick.

(b) amend existing parking bays and waiting restrictions (yellow lines) to accommodate the changes to E-Bike/E-Scooter Parking Bays listed above;

(c) this will also include the following amendments to footway parking areas for E-Bikes/E-Scooters:

(i) introduce a new footway E-Bike/E-Scooter parking area in Highfield Road, Feltham;

(ii) relocate the existing footway E-Bike/E-Scooter parking areas in Bath Road (x2), Hounslow; &

(iii) revoke the existing footway E-Bike/E-Scooter parking area in Bedfont Road, Feltham.

(d) update the descriptions of the waiting restrictions to match what is on street in Carrington Avenue, Lulworth Avenue and Wheatlands, Hounslow;

(e) update the descriptions of the waiting restrictions to match what is on street in Pumping Station Road, Chiswick;

(f) update the description of the motorcycle parking place to match what is on street in Pumping Station Road, Chiswick;

(g) extend the length of the existing no waiting at any time restriction on Spencer Road, Chiswick, south-west side, by 5.3 metres;

(h) reduce the length of the existing Resident Permit Holders Mon-Fri 10am-12pm Except Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday parking place on Spencer Road, Chiswick, south-west side by 12 metres; &

(i) extend the length of the existing bus stop on Spencer Road, Chiswick, south-west side, by 5.3 metres.

3. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders and raised table can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P053/24, to be received no later than 27 June 2025.
