The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.19) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of a network of disused highways which lie to the south of Hyndburn Road, at Accrington in the Borough of Hyndburn. This is to enable development as permitted by Hyndburn Borough Council under reference 11/22/0057 & 11/24/0393

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/4852). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Accrington Library, St James' Street, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 1NQ.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 27 June 2025.
