NOTICE OF CORRECTION

TT1826

1. Notice is hereby given that TT1816 notice of proposal which was published on the 13th June 2025 by the Council of the London Borough of Hackney, advertised proposed changes to some roads in Chatsworth Road area including Glenarm Road.

2. The notice referred to the following;

Glenarm Road

a) Retain the existing one-way traffic flow (westbound direction) from the junction with Chatsworth Road to a point 11m west of the common boundary of Nos. 51-51a Glenarm Road with an exemption for pedal cycles.

b) Revoke existing one-way traffic flow (westbound direction) from the junction with Median Road to a point 11m west of the common boundary of Nos. 51-51a Glenarm Road and reinstate two-way traffic working.

The correct description should be

Glenarm Road

a) Retain the existing one-way traffic flow (westbound direction) from the junction with Chatsworth Road to a point 11m west of the common boundary of Nos. 51-51a Chatsworth Road with an exemption for pedal cycles.

b) Revoke existing one-way traffic flow (westbound direction) from a point 11m west of the common boundary of Nos. 51-51a Chatsworth Road and the junction with Elderfield Road and reinstate two-way traffic working.

3. Documents giving more detailed particulars are also available for inspection by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively, such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order is made, appeal to the High Court.
