The KING has been graciously pleased by Warrant under His Royal Signet and Sign Manual bearing date 1 July 2025 to give and grant unto the Barts Health National Health Service Trust His Royal Licence and Authority that it may bear the Armorial Bearings recorded in His Majesty’s College of Arms for the late Hospital of Saint Bartholomew at Smithfield in London for the use of the Royal Hospital of St Bartholomew together with such Supporters and such Device or Badge as may be granted to be used by the said Royal Hospital: the said Armorial Bearings being first duly exemplified according to the Laws of Arms and recorded in the said College of Arms: otherwise the said Royal Licence and Permission to be void and of none effect. And to signify His Royal Will and Pleasure that the said Royal Concession and Declaration be recorded in the said College of Arms.
