HIGHWAYS STOPPING UP ORDER
THE STOPPING-UP OF LAND AT CALVERLEY CLOSE BECKENHAM
THE MAYOR AND BURGESSES of the London Borough of Bromley hereby give Notice that they propose making an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of Land at Calverley Close Beckenham.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this Notice to be carried out in accordance with the Planning Permission granted to The London Borough of Bromley under reference DC/22/03013/FULL1.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER and relevant plan may be inspected by making an email request to: highway.planning@bromley.gov.uk
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed Order within a period of 28 days commencing 16th July 2025 by Notice addressed to the Director of Environment and Public Protection London Borough of Bromley, Bromley Civic Centre Churchill Court 2 Westmoreland Road Bromley BR1 1AS quoting reference NR STO/104
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of such an objection may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE SCHEDULE
Land at Calverley Close Beckenham
The Demolition of existing buildings and phased redevelopment comprising of 275 residential homes in buildings ranging from 3 to 7 Storeys. Associated landscaping, and cycle parking and ancillary development.
The term “stopping up” means that the area of the highway being the Land at Calverley Close Beckenham as shown hatched on the Plan would permanently cease to be public highway.
