1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) on 14th July 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the ‘bus priority’ Order will be to extend the operational hours of the existing bus lane in Empire Way, the north-west side, from ‘7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. throughout the week’ to ‘7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. throughout the week’ on non-event days.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 28th July 2025, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Order of 2017 (and of the Orders which have amended that Order) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order are made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

4. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3 above.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
