NOTICE UNDER THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
ENERGIZER UK PENSION PLAN (THE ‘PLAN’)
Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the Trustee of the Plan intends to wind up the Plan. The Plan was previously known as the Ever Ready UK Pension Plan and then as the Ralston UK Pension Plan. The Plan opened to accrual on 30 September 1992, closed to new entrants on 1 March 2004 and closed to future accrual on 1 October 2017.
As is usual practice, the Trustee is placing an advertisement to allow any members or beneficiaries of the Plan who are not known to the Trustee to come forward before the winding-up is complete.
Any person who believes that they have a claim against the Plan or an interest or entitlement to benefits under the Plan is required to send details of their claim in writing to the Energizer UK Pension Plan c/o Gallagher, PO Box 323, Mitcheldean, GL14 9BL or energizer@ajg.com within two months of the date of publication of this notice.
After the expiry of the two-month notice period, the Trustee will proceed to wind up the Plan having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has had notice and will not be liable to any person of whose claim it has not had notice.
Please note that if you receive a pension from the Plan, or you have recently received correspondence from the Trustee regarding the winding up of the Plan, you need not reply to this notice as the Trustee already has full details about your entitlement.
