NOTICE OF FORFEITURE OF CASH WITHOUT COURT ORDER

PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT 2002, PART 5, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 297A

IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2015 NO. 857

On 15th August 2023 a total of £5,500.66 was seized by Lincolnshire Police from the following people and locations:

£10.00 from the person of Mr Julian ISTREFI, of last address Boteley Close, Chingford.

£160.00 from the person of Mr Erlind TOPUZI of last address Mapleton Crescent, Enfield.

£173.73 from a bag containing other items relating to Mr Ergys MUJA of last address Cambourne Avenue, London.

£5,126.93 from a flat on Eastgate, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, said to be occupied by Mr Marco TROPO at the time of the seizure. No current address is known for Mr Marco TROPO.

£30.00 from the churchyard of St Denys’ Church, Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

On 22nd July 2025, Detective Inspector Marc HORSEWOOD, a senior officer within the meaning of s297A(6) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) authorised a Notice of Forfeiture of Cash Without Court Order on being satisfied that the above cash is (a) recoverable property or (b) intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct (s297A(2) POCA).

Any person may object to the proposed forfeiture within 30 days from the date of this notice being published in the London Gazette.

Any objection must be made in writing to: Financial Investigator Russell HARRIS, Economic Crime Unit, Lincolnshire Police Headquarters, Lincoln, LN5 7PH.

If no objection is received within the period of objecting, and the notice has not lapsed, the cash will be deemed to be forfeited, unless an application is made to set aside forfeiture (s297E POCA).
