1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham (“the Council”) proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Disabled Resident Parking Places Orders and the Disabled Persons Permit Parking Places Order would be to:

(a) extend the length of existing disabled resident parking places in Little Ilford Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) outside No. 25 Colchester Avenue, E12 (overlaps No. 27 by 1.6 metres) and in Market Street CPZ outside No. 50 Tyrone Road, E6 (overlaps No. 52);

(b) reposition an existing disabled resident parking place in Monega CPZ outside No. 205 Sherrard Road, E12 (overlaps No. 203 by 2 metres); and

(c) designate disabled resident parking places for use only by persons who are resident within the Boleyn, Canning Town North, Custom House, East Ham, East Ham South East, Forest Gate North, Green Street North, Little Ilford, Market Street, Monega, Prince Regent, Royal Docks East, Stratford, Stratford North East, Stratford South East, Upton Park, and West Ham CPZs, who meet the current criteria for the provision of parking places for disabled persons and who have been issued disabled resident parking permits for their vehicles. Certain other vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g., to load or unload goods or pick up or set down passengers. A single parking place would be designated at each of the locations listed below.

NOTE – At locations where an ‘overlap’ is also stated, the proposed parking place would overlap the frontage of the adjacent property numbers, by up to 1 metre unless otherwise mentioned.

Boleyn CPZ – No. 39 St Martins Avenue, E6;

Canning Town North CPZ – opposite No. 21 Sutton Road, E13 and opposite No. 23 Sutton Road, E13;

Custom House CPZ – No. 12 Ethel Road, E16;

East Ham CPZ – No. 92 Burges Road, E6 (overlaps No. 94), No. 75 Byron Avenue, E12 (overlaps No. 73 by 2.5 metres), No. 4 East Avenue, E12 (overlaps No. 6), No. 6 Lincoln Road, E7 (overlaps No. 8), No. 3 Lloyd Road, E6 (overlaps Nos. 1 and 5), Nos. 20 and 20A Kempton Road, E6 (overlaps Nos. 18/18A and 22/22A), No. 165 Kensington Avenue, E12 (overlaps No. 163 by 2.5 metres), No. 35 Shelley Avenue, E12 (overlaps No. 33 by 2.3 metres) and No. 20 Wall End Road, E6 (overlaps No. 22);

East Ham South East CPZ – Nos. 98 – 104 Folkestone Road, E6 and No. 34 Johnstone Road, E6;

Forest Gate North CPZ – No. 42 Horace Road, E7 (overlaps Nos. 40 and 44) and No. 193 Sebert Road, E7 (overlaps No. 191 by 2.1 metres);

Green Street North CPZ – No. 39 Glenparke Road, E7 (overlaps Nos. 37 and 41), No. 124 Kitchener Road, E7 (overlaps Nos. 122 and 126) and No. 12 Sherrard Road, E7 (overlaps No. 10 by 1.2 metres and overlaps No. 14);

Little Ilford CPZ – opposite No. 46 Gainsborough Avenue, E12, No. 136 Little Ilford Lane, E12 and No. 115 Walton Road E12 outside Nos. 2 - 9 Walter Hurford House;

Market Street CPZ – No. 14 Ernald Avenue, E6 (overlaps No. 12), No. 2 Gillett Avenue, E6, No. 72 Pulleyns Avenue, E6 (overlaps No. 70) and No. 63 Wellington Road, E6 (overlaps Nos. 61 and 65);

Monega CPZ – No. 203 Sherrard Road, E12 (overlaps No. 201 by 2.8 metres);

Prince Regent CPZ – No. 99 Ravenscroft Road, E16 (overlaps No. 97) and No. 41 Woodside Road, E13 (overlaps No. 39 by 1.4 metres);

West Ham CPZ – No. 17 Celandine Way, E15 (overlaps Nos. 15 and 17) and No. 50 Teasel Way, E15.
