THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.307) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 29th of August 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce cycle hire in the following locations;

Road Name Location
Annis Road 12.2m southeast from the junction line with Cassland Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on western kerb line.
Barnabas Road 0.5m south of the building line of Nisbet House, replacing 5m of cashless shared use bay on the eastern kerb line.
Benthal Road 10.2m south of the southern kerb line of Brooke Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on western kerb line
Bethune Road 13.2m south of the southern building line of 147 Bethune Road, replacing 11.1m of permit holder bay on the western kerb line
Brodia Road 6.7m south of the junction line with Dumont Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the eastern kerb line.
Brownlow Road (removing location) 4.6m west of the building line of 1C Brownlow road, replacing 5m of cycle hire bay with permit holder bay, on the northern kerb line.
Clarence Road 14m south of the junction line of Clarence Road and Downs Road, replacing 6m of permit holder bay on the western kerbline.
Clissold Crescent 15.5m north-west of the junction line of Burma Court Estate, replacing 5m of permit holder bay.
Cresset Road 10.9m east of the junction line with Mead Place, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the north kerbline.
Digby Road 11.5m south of the junction with Homerton High Street, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the eastern kerbline.
Foulden Road 11.3m west of the junction line with Foulden Road and Amhurst Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the southern kerbline.
Garnham Street 1.6m east of the building line of 204 Stoke Newington Church Street and 1a Garnham Street, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the northern kerbline.
Gliddon Drive 6.5m west of the extended building line of 24 Gliddon Drive, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the northern kerb line.
Grayling Road 6.2m west of the junction line with Bouverie Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the northern kerb line.
Hawksley Road 5.7m east of the junction line with Albion Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the southern kerb line.
Isabella Road 12.6m south of the junction with Homerton High Street, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the western kerb line.
Meynell Road 10.2m west of the junction line of Meynell Road and Meynell Crescent, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the southern kerb line.
Muir Road 0.2m west of the building line of 9 Muir Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the southern kerb line.
Nevill Road 15.4m north of the building line of 49 Barbauld Road, replacing 5m of permit holder bay on the western kerb line.
Paragon Road 2.9m north of the building line of 13 Paragon Road, replacing 5m of shared use bay, on the northern kerbline.
Regan Way (removing location) 6.2m north of the junction line with Crondall Street, replacing 5m of cycle hire bay with permit holder bay, on the eastern kerb line.
Retreat Place 5.2m west of the building line of 228 Morning Lane, replacing 5m of permit bay on the southern kerb line.
Ruthven Street 5.3m from the building line of 93 Lauriston Road, replacing 5m of permit bay in the eastern direction, on the northern kerbline.
Southborough Road 5.2m west of the extended building line of 56 Southborough Road, replacing 7.9m of a permit bay, on the southern kerbline.
St Thomas's Square 15.1m east from the junction with Mare Street, replacing 10m of a cashless shared use bay on the northern kerbline.
Statham Grove 14.1m east of the extended building line of 146 Green Lanes, replacing 5m of resident permit bay on the northern kerbline.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 8th September 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
