LONDON BOROUGH OF CAMDEN
ON-STREET CHANGES FOR THE PROVISION OF CYCLE HANGARS (PHASE 9B)
THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 13) ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 25 September 2025 have made the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order, which reflects measures proposed by public notice dated 26 September 2024, will be:-
(a) to remove certain lengths of permit holders parking space and provide single yellow line ‘controlled hours’ waiting restrictions or (where noted below) ‘at any time’ double yellow line waiting restrictions, in order to install pedal cycle hangars at the following locations (lengths of parking space to be removed given in brackets, below): (i) BELSIZE LANE (Zone CA-B): north-west side, outside Nos. 5 and 6 Village Close (5.2 metres); (ii) BUCKLAND CRESENT (Zone CA-B): north-west side, opposite Nos. 41 Buckland Crescent (5.2 metres); (iii) DALEHAM GARDENS (Zone CA-B): west side, opposite No. 26 Daleham Gardens (5.4 metres); (iv) CROMER STREET (Zone CA-D): south side, opposite No. 78 Cromer Street (5.2 metres); (v) HARRISON STREET (Zone CA-D): north side, adjacent to Great Croft (5.2 metres); (vi) DENNING ROAD (Zone CA-H): south side, outside Nos. 42 and 44 Denning Road (5.2 metres); (vii) ROCHESTER ROAD (Zone CA-G): north-east side, outside Nos. 17 to 22 Rochester Road (5.2 metres); (viii) ELDON GROVE (Zone CA-H): south-west side, outside No. 9 Eldon Grove (6 metres of double yellow lines); (ix) GAYTON ROAD (Zone CA-H): south-east side, outside Nos. 38a Gayton Road and No. 23 Gayton Crescent (5.2 metres); (x) HEATH HURST ROAD (Zone CA-H): west side, adjacent to No. 6 Keats Grove (5.2 metres); (xi) WILLOUGBY ROAD (Zone CA-H): east side, outside No. 44 Willoughby Road (5.2 metres); (xii) KING HENRY'S ROAD (Zone CA-J): north side, opposite Nos. 1 and 3 King Henry’s Road (5.6 metres); (xiii) TALACRE ROAD (Zone CA-L): west side, outside No. 27 Talacre Road (5.2 metres); (xiv) EVANGELIST ROAD (Zone CA-M): north-east side, adjacent to No. 39 Lady Somerset Road (5.6 metres); (xv) OAKFORD ROAD (Zone CA-M): west side, adjacent to No. 10 Lady Somerset Road (4.9 metres); (xvi) ST. PAUL’S CRESCENT (Zone CA-N): north-west side, outside No. 24 St. Paul’s Crescent (5.6 metres); (xvii) NARCISSUS ROAD (Zone CA-P): west side, adjacent to No. 134 Mill Lane (5.6 metres); (xviii) SOLENT ROAD (Zone CA-P): north-east side, adjacent to No. 36 Pandora Road (7 metres); (xix) LOWFIELD ROAD (Zone CA-Q): east side, outside Nos. 12 and 14 Lowfield Road (5.6 metres);
(b) to remove 5.2 metres of paid-for parking space in HARMOOD STREET (Zone CA-F): west side, opposite No. 64 Harmood Street and replace it with single yellow line ‘controlled hours’ waiting restrictions in order to install pedal cycle hangars; and
(c) to remove 7.2 metres of permit holders parking space in OSENEY CRESCENT (Zone CA-M): north side, opposite No. 69 Oseney Crescent, extend the adjacent cycle parking place by 2 metres and provide 5.2 metres single yellow line ‘controlled hours’ waiting restrictions in order to install pedal cycle hangars.
3. Copies of the made Order, which will come into force on 26 September 2025, and of other documents relating to the Order, may be obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or may be inspected in person by prior appointment at 5 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG, during normal office hours.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
