THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (FULHAM FOOTBALL CLUB) ANTI-TERRORISM ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham after consulting the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6, 22, 124, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) propose to make the above-mentioned Orders

2. The general effect of the Order is to control the movement of pedestrians and vehicles as part of a package of measures aimed at improving the security of people in crowded places and protecting property from damage in roads around football stadiums in the Borough when events and home matches are taking place. The proposed measures consist of:

(1) Prohibition of vehicles in:

(a) Billing Road, (b) Billing Place, (c) Billing Street, (d) Bishop’s Avenue, (e) Bishop’s Park Road, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (f) Cloncurry Street, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (g) Doneraile Street, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (h) Ellerby Street, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (i) Ellerslie Road, between the junction of Bloemfontein Road and Loftus Road. (j) Finlay Street, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (k) A304 Fulham Road, between the eastern kerb-line of B318 Harwood Road and the south-eastern kerb-line of Hortensia Road, (l) Gresswell Street, between Woodlawn Road and Stevenage Road, (m) Harbord Street, between Woodlawn Road, Stevenage Road, (n) Hilary Close, (o) St Mark’s Grove, (p) South Africa Road, the entire length. (q) Stevenage Road, between the junctions of Harbord Street and Bishops Park Road, (r) the unnamed road, at the junction of the A219 Putney Bridge Approach and the south-west boundary of All Saints Church, Fulham, (s) the unnamed road, between Australia Road and South Africa Road, (t) Wansdown Place, and (u) Waterford Road, between the southern kerb-line of A304 Fulham Road and the north-western kerb-line of More Park Road.

(2) Closure points on the highway in:

(a) Bishop’s Park Road, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (b) Britannia Road, at the junction of Moore Park Road, (c) Cedarne Road, at the junction of Moore Park Road, (d) Cloncurry Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (e) Doneraile Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (f) Dorando Close, at the junction with South Africa Road, (g) Ellerby Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (h) Ellersie Road, at the junction of (i) Bloemfontein Avenue, (ii) Bloemfontein Road, and (iii) the western kerb-line of Loftus Road, (h) Finlay Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (i) A304 Fulham Road, ia) at the eastern kerb-line of B318 Harwood Road, and (ii) the south-eastern kerb-line of Hortensia Road, (j) Gresswell Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (k) Harbord Street, at the south-west kerb-line of Woodlawn Road, (l) Loftus Road, at the junction of (i) Batman Close, and (ii) at the northern kerb-line of Ellerslie Road, (m) Maxwell Road, at the junction of Moore Park Road, (n) South Africa Road, (o) Stevenage Road, at the north-west kerb-line of Harbord Street, (p) Wansdown Place, (q) Waterford Road, (i) at the southern kerb-line of A304 Fulham Road, and (ii) the north-western kerb-line of More Park Road, and (q) the unnamed road, at the junction of the A219 Putney Bridge Approach and the south-west boundary of All Saints Church, Fulham.

(3) Banned left turns from:

(a) Hilary Close, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(b) Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, 446 Fulham Road into the A304 Fulham Road.

(c) Wansdown Place, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(4) Banned right turns from:

(a) Billing Road, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(b) Britannia Road, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(c) Harwood Road, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(d) Maxwell Road, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(e) St. Mark’s Grove, into the A304 Fulham Road, and

(f) Waterford Road, into the A304 Fulham Road.

(5) Banned left and right turns from Moore Park Road into (a) Britannia Road, (b) Cedarne Road, (c) Maxwell Road, and (d) Waterford Road.

3. A copy of the proposed Order, the Councils Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order, and documents giving more detailed particulars can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should send a statement in writing to Transport and Highways Department, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk,until the expiration of 21 days from the date on which the notice is published.
