TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of an Order made under section 247 of the above Act entitled Crystal Palace, authorising the stopping up of part of Wooderson Close Crystal Palace to enable the development described in the schedule to this Notice to carried out in accordance with planning permission granted on 16 August 2024 planning reference 18/00547/FUL.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLANS are available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Council Access Croydon Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA in the six weeks commencing Thursday 2 October 2025 and may be obtained free of charge from the London Borough of Croydon (quoting reference 17812-KSS-MS-ZZ-DR-A-90-030 P03) at the address stated above or by email at anthony.graham@croydon.gov.uk quoting the above reference.
ANY PERSON aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made have not been complied with, may within six weeks of Thursday 2 October 2025 ending Thursday 13 November 2025 to apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included therein. In submitting an objection, it should be noted that your personal data and correspondence will be passed to the applicant to enable your objection to be considered. If you do not want your personal data to be forwarded, please state your reasons when submitting your objection.

DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT
Extension of Main Stand to provide 8000+additional seating and additional internal floor space to be used for the operation of the football club and ancillary functions (Use Class D2), and creation of restaurant/retail unit (Use Class A1/A3). Demolition of 22-32 Wooderson Close and works to the Northeast end elevation of 20 Wooderson Close. Associated reorganisation of surrounding land including but not limited to car parks with associated hard and soft landscaping. Use of the club car park as a fan plaza on match days. Pitch lengthening and the creation of accessible seating within the Whitehorse Lane Stand. Creation of new corner stand between Holmesdale Road and Arthur Wait stands. Reorganisation of floodlighting and removal of the TV Gantry at the Arthur Wait Stand at Selhurst Park Stadium (Whitehorse Lane), And Sainsbury's Car Park (120-122 WhItehorse Lane), No's 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 & 32 Wooderson Close, Crystal Palace
DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP
The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon and is shown line hatched in black on drawing reference number 17812-KSS-MS-ZZ-DR-A-90-030 P03 and comprises areas of all-purpose highway located the eastern cul-de-sac of Wooderson Close, and a triangular section of all-purpose highway located at the northwest cul-de-sac of Wooderson Close.
