The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled“The Prohibition of Waiting (Schools) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025 (S.R. 2025 No. 160) which comes into operation on 22 October 2025.

The Rule will prohibit vehicles waiting Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., between 31 August and 30 June on a length of Glenhead Road, Ballykelly at Ballykelly Primary School and Vale Road, Greysteel, Eglinton at Faughanvale Primary School. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibitions in certain circumstances.
