Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, hereby give notice of the intention to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) in respect of the following road and are satisfied that the execution of the works in question will take longer than 18 months:

NORTH WALSHAM - B1145 North Walsham By-pass from 67m southwest of its junction with U19662 Little London Road for 201m south-westwards to facilitate Vanguard cable crossing works. Traffic over the Road shall be subject to the imposition of a 30mph speed restriction from 25th October 2025 to 17th September 2027. Alternative route is N/A. This restriction is also made pursuant to Section 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Norfolk County Council (North Walsham) (NTRO6964) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023 will be revoked from the date the Order is in effect (in force). The works promoter for this restriction is: Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.

The effect of this Order will be to restrict the use by vehicles on the named road. In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Alternative routes are shown where applicable and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
