Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, hereby give notice of the intention to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) in respect of the following road and are satisfied that the execution of the works in question will take longer than 18 months:

AYLSHAM – Church Lane from its junction with A140 Aylsham Bypass to its junction with B1145 Banningham Road to facilitate construction of temporary road from 25th October 2025 to 4th July 2028. Alternative route is via: A140 Aylsham Bypass, B1145 Banningham Road. This restriction/closure is also made pursuant to Section 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Norfolk County Council (Aylsham) (NTRO8170) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024 will be revoked from the date this Order is in effect (in force). The works promoter is Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.

The effect of this Order will be to restrict the use by vehicles on the above-named road. The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 4th July 2028 as its maximum duration, without further notice.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Alternative routes are shown where applicable and pedestrian access to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road will be maintained at all times.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
