LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS
THE TOWER HAMLETS (WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (MAP BASED) ORDER 2019 AND THE TOWER HAMLETS (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) ORDER 2019.
1. The general effect of this proposal is:
PTO 2254 - :
Watts Grove and Yeo Street
(a) Watts Grove - by replacing double yellow line and no loading at any time restrictions to introduce:
(i) on the Westside, outside no.39 David Hewit House introduce a 16m loading bay to operate during Zone B3 operational hours with 40 minutes maximum stay and no return within 2 hours.
(ii) eastside, outside Sumner House – 10m of single yellow line.
(b) Yeo Street, southside -
(i) To replace the double yellow line with single yellow line on the southside: (i) opposite Flat 606, Santis Court, and (ii) opposite the west kerb of Glaucus Street
(ii) Outside no.12, northside – to extend the existing permit holder parking bay by 1m westwards.
PTO 2255 -
Duckett Street:
(a) Immediate north of the junction with Killick way – west kerb side, to replace 10m of resident parking space with double yellow lines and no loading at any time restrictions.
(b) Outside no.81 – east kerbside, (i) to replace the existing single yellow line with 10m of Limited Waiting and resident parking and 1.7m of double yellow line, and (iii) directly opposite Killick Way- to replace 10m at its northern end, the limited parking & resident parking bay with double yellow line.
(c) Outside Textile House - west kerbside, to replace the single yellow line with resident parking spaces.
PTO 2256 -
Devas Street (new parking bays to be partially on the footpath)
(a) Outside Harston walk - by replacing the double yellow line and No Loading at any time: (i) introduce 5m permit holder and 15m shared use (Permit & Cashless payment) parking bays.
(b) By replacing the double yellow lines, introduce permit holder parking bays of 8m each outside: (i) no.16, (ii) no.26, and (iii) no.16 Nelson Walk.
PTO 2257 -
Fournier Street:
near the junction of Commercial Street, southside – to Introduce no Loading restrictions to operate Monday to Sunday Midday to Midnight to accompany existing double yellow lines.
PTO 2258:
Three Colts Lane/Canton Street:
(a) opposite Andover Court/Violet Street (south kerb) - beneath the bridge, (i) to extend the existing double yellow line in westerly direction by 10m, and (ii) to introduce no loading at any time’ to accompany the new double yellow line between the new extension in (i) above and the existing double yellow line to the junction of Coventry Road.
(b) Canton Street outside no.70: To replace the personalised disabled parking bay no.TH DIS.639 with a resident parking space.
2. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 1 above.
3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and all relevant documents can be obtained by emailing Parking.TMO@towerhamlets.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent by email to the above email address in paragraph 3 or in writing to Parking & Mobility Services, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
