THE BEXLEY (SIDCUP TOWN CENTRE) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. XX) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No xx) Traffic Order 2025 would be

• to make minor changes to various scheduled definitions of lengths of waiting and loading restrictions in the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2019, without physically changing any existing markings so that the definitions of those lengths of waiting and loading restrictions in the Order schedules accurately reflect the existing markings on street and facilitate better enforcement.

3. The general effect of the Bexley (New Eltham Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025would be

• to make a minor change to The Bexley (New Eltham Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 by replacing a revoked disabled bay with a controlled parking zone bay in Oakley Drive New Eltham#

4. The general effect of the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre)(Parking Places) (Amendment No xx) Traffic Order 2025 would be

a) to make a minor change to The Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 by replacing a revoked disabled bay with a controlled parking zone bay in Stanhope Road Sidcup

5. Copies of the Orders, (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and maps which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

7. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT or by email to traffic@bexley.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

8. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
