Letters Patent bearing date 23rd day of October 2025 have passed the Great Seal of Northern Ireland appointing Mr Justice Colton to be a Lord Justice of Appeal in Northern Ireland.

The said Letters Patent were enrolled in the Central Office of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland on 23rd October 2025.

The Honourable Lord Justice Colton took the Oath of Office on the 23rd day of October 2025 in the presence of the Lady Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

The Oath was administered by Mr A E Wells, Clerk of the Crown for Northern Ireland.
