1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Orders, under Sections 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of these Orders would be to:

(a) make the following speed limit amendments:

(i) revoke the 40mph speed limit in the length of Stanwell Road, Feltham, in the length of Stanwell Road from its junction with Bedfont Road (Stanwell), Feltham to a point 62 metres south-east of the north-western point of the central reservation of Stanwell Road to the south-east of Beacon Road Roundabout in Schedule 1 of The London Borough of Hounslow (Speed Limits) (No.1) Order 2011;

(ii) revoke the 40mph speed limit in the length of Bedfont Road (Stanwell), Feltham, from its junction with Stanwell Road to the boundary of the Administrative County of Surrey in Schedule 1 of The London Borough of Hounslow (Speed Limits) (No.1) Order 2011;

(iii) revoke the 50mph speed limit in the length of Stanwell Road, Feltham, from its junction with the A30 Great South-West Road to a point 62 metres south-east of the north-western point of the central reservation of Stanwell Road to the south-east of Beacon Road Roundabout in Schedule 2 of The London Borough of Hounslow (Speed Limits) (No.1) Order 2011;

(iv) introduce the 40mph speed limit in the length of road “Bedfont Road, Feltham”, from the boundary of the Administrative County of Surrey to its junction with the western arm of the Beacon Road Roundabout, Feltham; and

(v) introduce the 40mph speed limit in the length of road “Stanwell Road, Feltham”, from its junction with Bedfont Road, Feltham, the western arm of the Beacon Road Roundabout, Feltham, including the Beacon Road Roundabout, Feltham, to its junction with the A30 Great South-West Road.

3. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders and raised table can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Acting Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P050/25, to be received no later than 21 November 2025.
