THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.***) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make the following changes:

a) Dunsmure Road - outside Nos. 35 to 39, replace 6 permit parking spaces (approximately 30 metres) with shared use parking spaces.

b) East Bank - the western side between Amhurst Park to opposite No. 40 East Bank, convert the permit bay to shared use parking (approximately 74 spaces).

c) Fairholt Road - opposite No. 14, replace 10 metres of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions with shared use parking.

d) Holmdale Terrace - opposite No. 1a, extend the existing cashless shared use bay by replacing a section of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions (providing an additional parking space).

e) Linthorpe Road - between No. 1 Linthorpe Road and to the side of No. 103 Stamford Hill, replace approximately 50 metres of permit bay with cashless shared use parking.

f) Paget Road - at the side of No. 20 St. Andrews Grove, replace 5 metres of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions with a cashless shared use bay.

g) West Bank - outside No. 1c, replace approximately 20 metres (4 spaces) of permit bay with cashless shared use bay.

Introduce double kerb blips, no loading “at any time” restrictions at the following locations:

h) Bethune Road -

(1) on the eastern side outside the entrance to Sandford Court,

(2) at its junction with Grangecourt Road,

(3) at its junction with St Kilda’s Road.

i) Colberg Place - at its junction with Wilderton Road.

j) Cranwich Road - at its junction with Amhurst Park.

k) Dunsmure Road -

(1) at its junction with Wilderton Road,

(2) at its junction with Glaserton Road,

(3) at its junction with East Bank.

l) East Bank -

(1) at its junction with Northfield Road,

(2) at its junction with Linthorpe Road,

(3) outside and opposite Nos. 41 and 42,

(4) at its southern junction with Dunsmure Road,

(5) at its junction with Holmleigh Road.

m) Fairholt Road - on the south-eastern side, at its junction with Heathland Road.

n) Glaserton Road -

(1) at its junction with Dunsmure Road,

(2) at its junction with Linthorpe Road,

(3) at the side of No. 51 Linthorpe Road.

o) Grangecourt Road - at its junction with Heathland Road.

p) Heathland Road -

(1) south-western side, at the southern kerb-line of Paget Road,

(2) at its junction with Grangecourt Road,

(3) at its junction with St Kilda’s Road.

q) Holmleigh Road - at its junction with East Bank.

r) Linthorpe Road -

(1) northern side, near its junction with Stamford Hill,

(2) at its junction with Wilderton Road,

(3) at its junction with Glaserton Road,

(4) at its junction with East Bank.

s) Manor Road - outside Nos. 12 to 22 and Nos. 1 to 16 Ferndale House.

t) Northfield Road -

(1) at its junction with East Bank,

(2) outside Nos. 9 to 11,

(3) at its junction with Stamford Hill.

u) Paget Road -

(1) at its junction with Heathland Road,

(2) at its junction with St Andrew’s Grove.

v) St. Andrew’s Grove -

(1) at its junction with Paget Road,

(2) at its junction with St Kilda’s Road.

w) St Kilda’s Road -

(1) at its junction with St Andrew’s Grove,

(2) at its junction with Heathland Road,

(3) at its junction with Bethune Road.

x) West Bank - on the western side, near its junction with Amhurst Park.

y) Wilderton Road -

(1) at its junction with Dunsmure Road,

(2) at its junction with Colberg Place,

(3) at its junction with Linthorpe Road.

Alternatively, such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to consultation.parking@hackney.gov.uk. within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
