DROOP STREET AND QUEEN’S PARK COURT
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (C ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. 12) ORDER 2025
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 11) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 3rd November 2025 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: (a) introduce one-way working in the following lengths of Queen’s Park Court, except for pedal cycles:
(i) westbound in the southernmost arm of Queens Park Court, between the western kerb-line of the access road leading to Block C, Nos. 43 to 54 Queen’s Park Court and its junction with the westernmost arm of Queen’s Park Court; and
(ii) northbound in the westernmost arm of Queen’s Park Court, between its junction with the southernmost arm of Queen’s Park Court and the southern kerb-line of Ilbert Street;
(b) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions throughout the westernmost and southernmost arms of Queen’s Park Court, except as provided in paragraph (c) below;
(c) introduce a residents’ parking place (2 spaces) on the north side of Queen’s Park Court (the westernmost arm), adjacent to the southern boundary wall of the Katherine Bruce Nursery and Pre-School;
(d) extend the double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside No. 112 Droop Street southward, replacing 2.6 metres of shared-use parking; and
(e) extend the double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the east side of Droop Street (the north to south arm), at the rear of No. 23 Sixth Avenue, northward, replacing 2.4 metres of residents’ parking.
3. The Orders, which will come into force on 6th November 2025, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 15th December 2025 at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
