CROYDON COUNCIL
PN311
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984
SECTION 23
PROPOSED NEW AND AMENDED EXISTING PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS
DINGWALL ROAD, LANSDOWNE ROAD & GEORGE STREET, CROYDON
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that they propose to convert three existing zebra crossings to parallel crossings, introduce a new parallel crossing and relocate a signalised crossing point as specified in the Schedule to this Notice to provide improved crossing facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
The general effect of the zig-zag markings would be to prohibit all vehicles from stopping on the markings for any reason and to improve road safety by aiding pedestrians to cross safely.
Further information may be obtained by emailing the Highway Improvements Team (highwayimprovements@croydon.gov.uk).
Dated 13 November 2025
