LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON
THE ISLINGTON (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2025
1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
2) The general effect of the Orders would be to:
i) remove 30 metres of resident parking bay (approximately six spaces) on the south-west side of Graham Street, outside the entrance to Cross Court House (around 95 metres north-west of the junction with City Road), and replace it with a “No Waiting at Any Time” restriction.
ii) convert 26 metres of existing “No Waiting” restriction on the north-east side of Graham Street, opposite the entrance to Cross Court House, into a “No Waiting at Any Time” restriction.
iii) convert 4.5 metres of existing “No Waiting” restriction on the south-west side of Graham Street, approximately 40 metres north-west of the junction with City Road, into a “No Waiting at Any Time” restriction.
3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. 4) Any person who wishes to object, or to make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Islington Environment, P O Box 2025, PERSHORE, WR10 9BU (quoting reference 8611) or by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk, within the period of twenty-one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
