THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.324) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 7th November 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make changes in the following locations;

a) Cazenove Road - Replace the disabled bay outside Nos. 51 to 53 Cazenove Road with a personalised permit bay - 00351.

b) Cecilia Road - Replace 6.6 metres of residents’ parking outside No. 59 Cecilia Road with a personalised permit bay - 00359.

c) Christie Road - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside Nos. 56 and 58 Christie Road with a personalised permit bay - 00358.

d) Dynevor Road - Replace 3.6 metres of cashless shared use bay on the northern side and 5 metres of of cashless shared use bay on the southern side by extending the double yellow lines, no waiting "at any time" restrictions and introduce 10 metres of "at any time" loading restrictions on both sides at that junction.

e) Elderfield Road - Replace the cycle hangar located at the side of No. 95 Rushmore Road in Elderfield Road with a residents' parking space.

f) Fanshaw Street - Replace 5.2 metres of Estate Permit bay (Z68) outside Flat No. 48 Fairchild House in Fanshaw Street with a personalised permit bay - 00357.

g) Geldeston Road - Extend the loading bay at the side of No. 125 Northwold Road in Geldeston Road northwards by 3 metres by replacing 3 metres of permit bay.

h) Heyworth Road - Replace 5.5 metres of permit bay with “at any time” waiting restrictions at the side of No. 11 Powell Road.

i) Homerton Grove - Replace the personalised permit bay at the side of No. 37 Brooksby’s Walk with a residents’ parking space.

j) Lordship Grove - Replace a section of a permit bay from between No. 5 Lordship Grove and the side of No. 1 Chestnut Close with “at any time” waiting restrictions.

k) Middleton Road - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside Middleton House, Middleton Road with a personalised permit bay - 00356.

l) Milton Grove - Replace the cycle hangar outside Nos. 76 and 78 Milton Grove with a residents' parking space.

m) Nile Street - Replace 4 metres of permit bay opposite Nile House in Nile Street with double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions.

n) Sharon Gardens - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside No. 3 Sharon Gardens with a personalised permit bay - 00044.

o) Smalley Road Estate, outside Nos. 1 to 45 Lawrence Court - Replace 6.6 metres of shared use bay outside Nos. 1 to 45 Lawrence Court, in Lawrence Building in Smalley Road Estate with a personalised permit bay - 00361.

p) we are also amending the existing Traffic Orders to correct anomalies between on-street markings and existing Traffic Orders at the following locations:

a. The following Roads in Zone D: Ainsworth Road, Alpine Grove, Aspland Estate, Balcorne Street, Belsham Street, Brenthouse Road, Brett Road, Chatham Place, Clermont Road, Dalston Lane, Darnley Road, Eleanor Road, Florfield Road. Frampton Park Estate, Frampton Park Road, Fremont Street, Graham Road, Greenwood Road, Handley Road, Holcroft Road, Homerton Terrace, Isabella Road, King Edwards Road, Lansdowne Drive, Link Street, Loddiges Road, Marcon Place, Mead Place, Mehetabel Road, Morning Lane, Moulins Road, Navarino Grove, Navarino Road, Northiam Street, Nursery Road, Pemberton Place, Penpoll Road, Poulton Close, Reading Lane, Richmond Road, Sharon Gardens, Shore Place, Shore Road, Sigdon Road, Skipworth Road, Spurstowe Road, Spurstowe Terrace, St Johns Church Road, St Thomas’s Square, Sylvester Road, Templecombe Road, Tryon Crescent, Tudor Grove, Tudor Road, Victoria Park Road, Warneford Street, Wayland Avenue, Wayman Court, Well Street, Wilton Way and Woodbine Terrace.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 17th November 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
