The City of Edinburgh Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the roads described in the Schedule hereto. The title of the Order is “The City of Edinburgh Council (Herring Road, Waterfront Park and West Colonsay View, Edinburgh) (Redetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 202_" - RSO/25/25. A copy of the proposed Order and of the accompanying plan showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order and our privacy notice can be viewed free of charge, between 09:30 to 15:30 Mon-Fri from 21/11/25 to 19/12/25 at Waverley Court Reception or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders and www.tellmescotland.gov.uk. Any person may, within 28 days from 21/11/25 object to the making of the Order by notice, quoting reference RSO/25/25, in writing to Traffic Orders, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, or by e-mail to TRO.Consultations@edinburgh.gov.uk. ROAD OVER WHICH MEANS OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE IS TO BE REDETERMINED FROM FOOTWAY TO CARRIAGEWAY

Waterfront Pk (north and south sides): 1. All that part of the footway on the north & south sides of Waterfront Pk from 65.53m west of the intersection of the extended west kerbline of Colonsay Cl & the extended south kerbline of Waterfront Pk, north-westwards for 11.5m & which has a width that varies from 0.86m & 2.89m. Herring Rd (west side): 1. All that part of the footway on the west side of Herring Rd from 16.49m north of the intersection of the extended north kerbline of Waterfront Pk & the extended west kerbline of Herring Rd, northwards for 35.2m & which has a width that varies from 0.3m to 0.5m; & 2. All that part of the footway on the west side of Herring Rd & the south side of W Colonsay Vw from 9.3m south of the intersection of the extended south kerbline of W Colonsay Vw & the extended west kerbline of Herring Rd, northwards for 9.9m, then westwards for 8.3m & then southwards for 5.6m & which has a width that varies from 1.6m to 0.5m.
