NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 21
| PROPOSAL: | ERECTION OF A WIND FARM COMPRISING UP TO 7 TURBINES (MAXIMUM HEIGHT UP TO 180 METRES), THE FORMATION OF ACCESS TRACKS, BORROW PITS, TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION COMPOUND, BATTERY STORAGE, ON-SITE SUBSTATION, AND ALL OTHER ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE AT VARIANCE WITH CONDITIONS 2 AND 13 OF PREVIOUSLY CONSENTED PERMISSION ATTACHED TO 22/2486/S42 (SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT PLANNING APPEAL REFERENCE PPA-170-2177) TO ALLOW AN INCREASE IN TURBINE TIP HEIGHTS FROM 200 METRES TO 220 METRES, AND ALLOW FOR AN AMENDED MICROSITING ALLOWANCE TO FACILITATE AN ALTERNATIVE LAYOUT (SECTION 42) |

is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environment Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 as it is likely to have significant effects on the environment.
Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council by Energiekontor UK Ltd to the planning application in respect of: ERECTION OF A WIND FARM COMPRISING UP TO 7 TURBINES (MAXIMUM HEIGHT UP TO 180 METRES), THE FORMATION OF ACCESS TRACKS, BORROW PITS, TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION COMPOUND, BATTERY STORAGE, ON-SITE SUBSTATION, AND ALL OTHER ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE AT VARIANCE WITH CONDITIONS 2 AND 13 OF PREVIOUSLY CONSENTED PERMISSION ATTACHED TO 22/2486/S42 (SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT PLANNING APPEAL REFERENCE PPA-170-2177) TO ALLOW AN INCREASE IN TURBINE TIP HEIGHTS FROM 200 METRES TO 220 METRES, AND ALLOW FOR AN AMENDED MICROSITING ALLOWANCE TO FACILITATE AN ALTERNATIVE LAYOUT (SECTION 42)

Possible decisions relative to the application are:
(i) Approval without conditions
(ii) Approval with conditions
(iii) Refusal
A copy of the EIA Report, the associated application, and other documents submitted with the application may be viewed on-line at www.dumgal.gov.uk/planning or inspected at all reasonable hours where the register of planning applications kept by the planning authority for the area at the Council Offices at Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries during opening hours during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice.
A charge of £15 will be made for a full electronic copy of the Comparative EIA on CD. Costs for paper copes are as follows: -
