CHANGES TO PARKING PLACES AND PROVISION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROVISION OF SECURE BICYCLE PARKING STRUCTURES – BATCH 20
(Note: This notice is about the provision of secure bicycle parking structures and reducing the length of certain parking places in controlled parking zones to accommodate those structures) (T38(25))
THE WALTHAM FOREST (PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. X) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the LBWF propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984), as amended.
The general effect of the Order would be to convert 3 mts of permit parking space to allow for the provision of secure bicycle parking structures (“units”) on the highway in the following roads under section 63 of the RTRA 1984. Some Cycle Hangars will be placed where waiting restrictions exist as stated. The proposed permit parking spaces to be displaced will default to "at any time" waiting restrictions where the cycle hangar will be provided. 1 unit is proposed in each road below unless otherwise stated:
