NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

1. In order to deter obstructive parking, maintain traffic flow, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) introduce new lengths ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions at the following junctions:

• Edgwarebury Lane and Parkside Drive HA8

• Albion Avenue and The Vale N10

• Cat Hill and Mansfield Avenue EN4

• Brunswick Park Gardens and Howard Close N11

b) introduce new lengths ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations:

• On both sides of Oakleigh Road North N20, near its junction with Oakleigh Park North

• On both sides of Parkside Drive HA8, around the bend between Nos. 45 and 53

• On both sides of Hale Lane HA8, near its junctions with Priory Field Drive and Highview Avenue

• Albion Avenue N10, near Halliwick Recreation Ground

• Mansfield Avenue EN4, south of its junction with Vernon Crescent

• Brunswick Park Gardens N11, on both sides around the bend in the vicinity of No.2

• On the south side of Brunswick Park Gardens N11, in the vicinity of its Junction with Howard Close

• Brunswick Park Road N11, north of its junction with Brunswick Park Gardens

• Stockton Gardens NW7, around the turning head

• Outside Nos. 35/37 Victoria Road EN4

• North side of Victoria Road EN4, between Nos. 89 and 135

• South side of Victoria Road EN4, outside Nos. 58 to 62

• On the south side of Childs Way NW11, between Crispin Mews and No.8 Childs Way

• On the north side of Bullescroft Road HA8, near its northernmost junction with Broadfields Avenue

c) Upgrade existing lengths of single yellow line waiting restrictions to operate ‘At any time’ at the following locations:

• Lengths of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am to 12pm Monday to Friday waiting restrictions on the south-west side of Hale Lane NW7, between Nos. 19 and 33 Hale Lane.

• Lengths of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions at the junction of Victoria Road and Alexander Close EN4.

• Lengths of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions on the south side of Victoria Road EN4, between Nos. 2 and 56.

• The 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction on the west side of Alexander Close EN4

• The 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction on the northeast side of A5 Edgware Road/The Hyde NW9, between its junctions with Greenway Gardens and The Greenway

• Lengths of 8am to 9.30am and 2.45pm to 4.15pm Monday to Friday waiting restrictions on the north side of Childs Way NW11, between Crispin Mews and No.8 Childs Way

• The length of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction on the north side of Union Street EN5, between its junction with High Street and No. 42 Union Street

• Lengths of 10am to 11am Monday to Friday waiting restrictions on both sides of Hale Lane HA8, west of its junction with Priory Field Drive

d) Introduce a length of ‘At any time’ waiting restriction on the west side of Trevor Road HA8, between its junctions with Gloucester Grove and Trevor Gardens (in place of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday permit holders only parking)

e) Introduce a length of ‘At any time’ waiting restriction on the east side of Trevor Road HA8, between its junctions with Trevor Gardens and Thirlby Road (in place of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday permit holders only parking)

f) Upgrade existing no loading 8am to 9.30am and 2.45pm to 4.15pm Monday to Friday restrictions to no loading ‘At any time’ restrictions on the north side of Childs Way NW11, between its junctions with Crispin Mews and No.2 Childs Way.

g) A small section of existing ‘At any time’ waiting restriction will also be removed on the south side of Bullescroft Road HA8, near its northernmost junction with Broadfields Avenue
