COMPANY DIRECTORS DISQUALIFICATION ACT 1986
In a Petition presented to the Court of Session, with court reference number: COS-P223-25, in terms of Section 6 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 at the instance of His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Department for Business and Trade, the Insolvency Service, Cannon House, 18 Priory Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6FD in respect of Mr Lindsay Brown, whose last known address was at Eskicesme Mahallesi, Ahment Taner Kisali Cad, 48400, Bodrum, Mulga, Turkey and whose present whereabouts are unknown, Lord Lake on 14 November 2025, made the following order:
The Lord Ordinary, having considered the petition and proceedings, no answers having been lodged, and having heard counsel on the petitioner’s motion: 1. on cause shown, and in terms of section 6(1) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986, disqualifies the respondent, Lindsay Brown, without leave of the Court, from being a director of a company, a liquidator or administrator of a company, a receiver or manager of a company’s property, or in any way, whether directly or indirectly, being concerned or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company, for a period of 7 years, said period of disqualification to begin at the end of the period of 21 days beginning with the date of this order; 2. directs the Deputy Principal Clerk of Session to furnish to the petitioner the particulars of the order in accordance with regulations 6(1)(g) and 7 of the Companies (Disqualification Orders) Regulations 2009; 3. directs the making of this order to be registered by His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and appoints intimation hereof to be made once by advertisement in the Edinburgh Gazette; 4. finds the respondent, Lindsay Brown, liable to the petitioner in the expenses of the petition proceedings; remits an account thereof to the Auditor of Court to tax; and decerns. All of which notice is hereby given.
