ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (WESTMINSTER) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2008 A5 GLA ROAD (EDGWARE ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2025

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 21st November 2025 it made the above named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 1st December 2025.

2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:

1) convert the existing Disabled Persons Vehicle bay into a Loading and Unloading and Disabled Persons Vehicle Bay Edgware Road, opposite Crawford Place operating Mon-Sat 7am-7pm except loading 20 minutes or Disabled Persons Vehicles to park for a maximum of 3 hours;

2) reduce the length of the Borough controlled bay opposite Nos. 178 to 174 Edgware Road by 24.5 metres at its south-eastern end;

3) relocate the existing 8.6 metre Loading and Unloading bay opposite Nos. 168 to 176 Edgware Road to opposite 182 to 184 Edgware Road, operating, Mon-Sat No Stopping 7am-7pm loading 20 minutes;

4) introduce 27 metres Double Red Lines opposite Nos.168 to 180 Edgware Road operating, No Stopping At Any Time.

3. The road which would be affected by the Order is the A5 GLA Road – Edgware Road in the City of Westminster.

4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference the Traffic Order relates to or by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
